My dream role is killing me

So I’m doing my dream role (nursing) and I’m on an apprenticeship for it.
Although we are really financially struggling because of the pay. My wage goes nowhere since inflation rates have risen and I’m having to ask my partner for money (which isn’t an issue, he told me to take the job and he’d help out) although he’s now been forced into the office twice a week and the trains are £600 a month so we’re left with little if anything.

It’s caused so many arguments and it’s starting to impact me negatively.
My instincts are telling me to quit but then I don’t want to be seen as a failure. I really want to do my nursing but I just physically can’t afford to do it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Stick with it. Get your apprenticeship done so that you have that qualification. It will pay off in the end.

And talk to your partner and try to make proper plans about your finances instead of risking having arguments all the time.

Good luck, you can do it.

Nursing jobs are rough. My mom did home care for year's and she pretty much lives pay check to pay check
