40 hour work weeks need to be abolished.

It's 2022. 30 hour work weeks should be the norm with overtime starting aftwr 30 hours.
20 hour weeks are better

We average 55/65 hours per week in Construction.

If we were to do 40 hours per week , you will have the roads and buildings built in double the projected duration.

I will give another example :
Night shift productivity will reduce by approx 60% if you want a 40 hour week

In saying that 40 hours a week could mean less salary / wages , how would one cope up with rising costs ?

@scorpiolovedeep Paying to people for thirty hours is the same as paying one person sixty hours.

seriously, this 40 hour work week is just stupid. like damn all I do is work
MethDozer · M
@NoahB I see both sides. It's nearbimpossible to get anything donw at 20 hours. Or you have too many hands on one project and it goes to shit. 40 hours I will except, but one week off every other month. That's reasonable.

@MethDozer Now thats a compromise I can get behind

@jshm2 Nah, I want both. You cpuld pay $60 an hour, I still don't want to work 60 hours
Eternity · 26-30, M
Naw. That would only benefit the working class. Fuck those guys.
