Why do people complain about no one wanting to work anymore? Which is mostly aimed at people in the service industry.
I hate to break it to you, but unlike you non-essential employees, we worked during Covid.
When Covid started, I was working at a grocery store. I had to work 6 or 7 days a week for several month straight because you people wanted to panic buy. Retail employees weren’t getting paid to stay home. We were working, and being over worked, the entire time.
Even God rested on the 7th day!
On top of that, ever since Covid happened, customers have becomes increasingly more entitled and insufferable.
You beat your workers down to the point that we are now finding jobs that aren’t in this industry.
It’s not that people don’t want to work- they don’t want to serve YOU.
