I lied and told work my car broke down and
I couldn’t work today. I just didn’t have it in me today to drive all that way and work for three hours

To be on the safe side you should put a little smudge of grease on your cheek when you go to work on Monday and tell everybody you spent the weekend fixing your car. Cheers and happy weekend!
