My two bosses will be gone tomorrow, that means I'll be in charge for the day 😰

Tell me this is some meticulously planned April Fools joke that one boss planned an out-of-state vacation for and the other had to attend a court hearing for. 😫 I HATE being in charge for the day! Every time, something just has to come up that requires one of my bosses' expertise, leaving me unable to help and stressing me the hell out. Every fuсking time!! 😤 It makes me feel ridiculous, like everyone's thinking "Why they'd put this broad in charge?" My boss tells me nothing big is planned for tomorrow, so no issues should come up. But that's the thing about issues: they never are planned, they just happen. And they're going to tomorrow, just watch. 😒

@Melpomene I’m perfectly competent in my own job. Much of the tasks in my bosses jobs are out of my area of expertise. So I guess if you consider not having any proper training for certain tasks incompetence.

@Alfarrobas Work won't always be what you like to do. Sometimes it's something you must do and sometimes it's up to you to decline it if it's unsuitable.
@Ducky I didn't ask about your expertise but ability to handle what you're asked to do.
If you're competent (to adjust) then you shouldn't have problems. If you're incompetent you shouldn't be given that task in the first place and they should pick someone else.
