How would you feel if your job sent you something via email at 8pm last night, with things you need to turn in 1st thing in the morning?

I literally had 1 hour to learn how to do it and turn it in.

I work 8a-4pm.
I DO NOT check work emails after work has ended;and I don't feel like I should have to.

It's just annoying to me. I'm sure they knew they needed this a whole week ago, so why not send out the details a little earlier??

It sounds unfair to me, unless there's something in your job description that specifically states they may contact you and request work after hours. I'm guessing that's not the case... 😐
