Started my Tax return today
I am claiming for personal Superannuation contributions.
Instead of it being automatic, as most things tax related are, I had to ask the tax office for an "Intent to claim personal superannuation contributions" form.
Fill it in then post it to my Super fund who will verify the content then forward it to the tax office.
Crazy, in these days of autofill etc,
