@scooogy I also had a 30 minute commute each way. I have heard that sometimes working from home was worse than having to go to an office. Primarily if one didn't have a separate office where they could close it off and have it out of sight, out of mind. Like people would see their desk or projects and end up spending more hours working at home than they would have at an external office.
I live in a large house (hopefully not for long) so, just dusting, vacuuming and mopping takes 4 hours easily. Laundry can be done during that...so depending on what chores I do, 4-8 hours a weekend. I have a large lawn, so adding in time for lawn care.
Errands are grocery shopping, paying bills and whatever may pop up with the car or pets. But I just wanted to stay in bed and watch tv on the weekends, so if I wasn't doing something that absolutely had to be done, that's what I did. No social interaction.
There was also a period of time where I was taking care of my sick mother, so it was work, errands, chores and caretaking. That was it.
