I hate capitalist supporters

Hate is a strong word but I can't think of another word that justifies how I feel towards their ignorance and selfishness.

You realise of course that capitalism is not the same thing as consumerism right?
I mean there is a lot of theory behind capitalism and some pretty strong arguments in favour of it.

What we refer to today as capitalism is really corporatism.
Bravo!
And don't forget the seven dwarves...Sleepy, Stingy, Sneaky, Hateful, Resentful, and I forget the rest. Point being that bad behavior does not define the normal interaction of society, it's is the aberration of it and SHOULD be dealt with. Put politicians and bankers who break laws in jail!

@BlueMetallChick: I think that is such a broad statement that it really couldn't be proven or disproven.
Sure maybe in some parts of the economy there is corporatism but that is not the case across the economy and Capitalism is not just corporatism by another name (that is to say the two concepts are not synonymous)
@xCoinx: Tru dat!

By all means but it doesn't support the community, only the individuals with all their fingers in the pies that lick arse. I've never been particularly good at that!

Capitalism will always create a rich and poor, where as communism creates equality and community.

You're joking right?
1) That is a major major over-simplification of what capitalism is and how it works its like saying - The problem with Christianity is it results in children being sexually molested, like yea ok that has happened but you've kinda missed the whole idea behind it and focussed in on 1 issue that may arise from it.
2) Communism has been tried again and again and again and it has failed over and over. Its a nice idea but IT DOES NOT WORK

That said, it can possibly be argued that maybe Cuba has been giving Communism the best run for its money of any place that has adopted a communist policy. But aside from possibly Cuba can you name me 1 place that Communism has created equality and community?

not when it's run by a capitalist mentality

@JovialPlutonian: So none?
