Is it hard to get a fight with someone off your mind?

I hate hurting people ,I have been hurt many times in my life by others
(So why would I inflict that on others ?)
But when I beg you to leave me be ,and you won't heed the warning
well they made 2 mistakes ,,not listening ,and judging a book by its cover
But I do still feel bad for it for a while
even when people try to tell me they had it coming ,,and I did warn them

Just because I hate hurting people ,does not mean I don't know how
but it does still bother me ,,that is not the man I want to be known for now
I prefer turning the other cheek and walking away ,(I am well known for restraining people and embarrassing them rather then actually hurting them )
but some people just won't let you be and you have to do what you have to do.

I don't like verbally hurting people either ,,it takes a lot to push me to go there ,,,but I do feel bad for quite some time when I hurt people
even when they beg for it

Yes if you care about the other person is hard to let it go. What happened?

Part of the reason i hate conflict is cause i'll obsess over it

I’ve been arguing with the same person since last Monday. Funny thing is that they aren’t arguing with me, but I’m still unable to get over it.
