I'm 15, how can I find a job in NYC?

I like the idea of earning my own money without having to wait on my parents because they aren't rich and I want things that are kinda pricy I guess. My friend has one, she's my age, and she makes a lot of money so why can't I? I already know about the blue paper stuff, but what exactly do I do to find a job for myself?
