Would you choose to be a full time homemaker if you could? You have to keep the house up to 1950s standards and take care of the children.
Assume you have a partner that earns enough to support the family in good condition.

No. I'm not very big on cleaning so I could never meet those standards, I like having my own money to spend, and I would prefer to have the ability to be financially independent in case things don't go well with my spouse so I won't be stuck in that situation
