Keep getting rejected pitch letters for client

Ugh.. I just have to put it out there into the world because my mind feels like its going to burst... I have been working so hard to promote and find press for a client who I truly believe does have a great product/artistic work... Her work has been selling like hotcakes and shes been featured on a lot of local news stations.. But im finding SO much rejection as I pitch her to some of the big guys like NBC, FOX etc..Major Magazines... And im devastated for her.. Ive tried switching the pitch..I wish I could share it because her story is really incredible and humble... Ive tried not giving up and reaching out multiple times.. But just find rejection everywhere we go... I just truly need someone to say don't give up!...And maybe a prayer that just one large name would say yes to us... Please pray these people change their minds.. Some huge universal event where they just think.. Gee.. I should give those guys a shot! Of the thousands of rejections.. 1 big yes would make it all worth it..And despite working hours and hours and hours to get this into peoples hands all the nos are starting to take a toll..Please could someone pray for us? Anyone been in a similar boat?

Here's the thing. You CAN'T get emotionally connected. No way to exist in that world if you do.
A quick, unsolicited tip?
Don't pitch thinking of how it will help your client. Pitch thinking about how it will help the producer or editor. They don't care about your client. They care about their audience. So the more targeted you can be in serving their needs the better.
Good luck.

Really great advice. I’ve been trying to take that approach but this is a reminder maybe I’m not doing enough to help them think about what’s in it for them. Thanks so much for commenting and sharing !@Ynotisay
