It's a very common and normal thing to call everyone "baby", here in the south. I'm not surprised.

@Straylight Yes! And some girls who get called that by married guys, think the guy is picking her up. That's so not the case.
Just like every male opens the door for you here no matter where you're at. They aren't picking you up, just the southern hospitality.

@DefiantHeart the guy I work with got called into the office is his last job ‘cause he called a girl “hun.” It’s just what they call people in his area. Lol!
