So the company christmas party was booked at the Hard Rock Rocksino...

There was a ballot a few weeks ago. We could choose between a summer picnic, or a Christmas party. I voted for the Christmas party. One week later, we find out that the Christmas party won. Yesterday, I saw a post that said that the party was going to be at the Hard Rock Rocksino, which happens to be age restricted. Attendees must be 21 or over. Me, and several other employees, are under 21. How, exactly, does it make sense to host an event for all employees to celebrate at a place that prevents you from participating because of your age? I am at a major loss right now.

UPDATE: I have spoken to my boss about the situation. Even he is confused as to why it's being held at an age-restricted place. Our human resources lady is currently out for the week, but we will speak to her about the situation when she returns.
I will suggest a change in venue so all employees have the chance to participate, but, if whoever is in charge of planning the party doesn't want to change locations, I will also suggest establishing a special exception to admittance with a physical indicator of one's age for those who are not 21 and older, such as a wristband.
I do hope that they take at least one of these options into consideration.
