Whats the point of having a resume if every application makes me fill out my work history manually?

I just get annoyed cause i spend all this time making my resume look cool and every application and employer is like "yea, we dont need that..."

Don't put your work history on your resume, just list your skills and qualifications. Saves space for the important stuff and as you noted the work history will be on the application.
