Were you happy with your last salary increase?

Very. I’ve received an increase as part of a promotion and another for my yearly evaluation. Both were in the high end of what I was hoping for.

Always actively browsing for different job and opportunities. I was recently disappointed with my pay increase and setup a time with my Human Resources management, direct supervisor and general manager.

I collected as much evidance of my work and activities to prove myself as a clear asset and how well I’ve embedded myself into the company.

I then asked each person why They felt I was worth what I was earning and using patience countered to convince them one by one why I was worth much more.

In the end I got what I set out for and an extra week holidays 😌👍

No increase yet.
I left my work as a Marine Engineer and now work in an office. The difference in salary is quite high though I prefer working in an office rather on board a vessel.

I’m close to one and I guess I’ll be happy about it. I feel like I’m way too smart for this company.
