One of my coworkers is a "red piller." These people are the worst.

@MyNameIsHurl You ever seen "The Matrix?" There's a scene where Morpheus offers Neo an option to take a red pill or a blue pill. The blue pill will make him forget he discovered the secret that his entire world is a computer simulation, but he'll be comfortable and return to normal. The red pill will help him escape the Matrix, but it'll also expose him to all the harshness and cruelty of the real world.

Red pillers are these people who are convinced they have all of reality figured out and they're super smart and everyone else is "rejecting reality" and "sheep in the machine." They often are hardcore social conservatives who devote lots of time to shitposting about how they hate feminism and religion and government and whatnot. Lots of red pillers are sovereign citizens too.
