Hey ladies have any of you been a food runner or busser in a restaurant? If so what was your experience?

And I don't ask that to sound snarky. I know people who legit have never eaten out at a restaurant.

@BlueMetalChick I've been to restaurants before...it's just the only jobs that I know are like, waiter and chef 😅

@Fangirlsarah1996 Ok so you know the guy who doesn't take your order, but he refills your water glasses, and picks the used dishes off the table to bring them to the kitchen? That's a busboy. Or...busgirl I guess if a female is doing it.

@Fangirlsarah1996 Waiters can do the same stuff as busboys do, but generally the difference is that a busboy will never be taking orders. Waiters generally have a lower salary but make tips, while busboys make more money by the hour but don't make tips.

@BlueMetalChick I guess things work slightly differently over here, every place I go to the waiter usually "looks after us" if you know what I mean.
