I Hate My Boss

@Furiousfrog - There is nothing wrong with bitching. My biggest flaw is looking for fairness in an unfair world. I truly believe in doing unto others as you would have done unto you. Don't want to waste time? Don't waste someone else's. Want the best from your workers then put in the same. Don't dick around and then bitch when they don't display the same "loyalty" to your company. It annoys the shit out of me when I see someone who is putting in and showing up and then being taken advantage of! My turn to be a whiny bitch! :)

If you are punching in then arriving ten minutes early is moot. He has no right to demand that you pitch ten minutes early if he isn't going to be there to allow you in. He's stealing your time. Do you have some kind of documentation that states what time you officially start? If so then make him stick to it. Get there a minute early every day next week and punch in on time, and if he bitches then tell him that you are well within your rights as per your terms of employment. If he doesn't like that then ask him how he would feel if the shoe was on the other foot. You are perfectly within your rights to expect an explanation, after all you are not a slave!

Like PlumBerries said you get paid for those ten minutes? Are you allowed to leave ten minutes early or get an extra 10 minutes for lunch?

Like I said, I wouldn't care if I could get in the building by myself. On days when he is here, whatever it's fine. Why do I really care what time I start.

On days when he isn't, I think I have a right to be angry. But I'm always furious anyway.

Dica, the squeeky wheel doesn't always get greased, sometimes it gets replaced. Pick and choose what you complain about. I vent here to get it outta my head. I'll complain about other things then having to wake up ten minutes earlier to my boss. Sorry for being a whiny bitch on here.
