Just fire me already.

Last week I posted about my boss finally messaging after weeks of silent firing.

He basically told me that he will not give me something to build or make and I should think of it myself.

After that of course I started thinking of stuff I think he will want I got 3 ideas. and I built them.

Now my boss asked me for the projects. I showed it to him now he goes

"wtf is this", "I don't need this" etch. etch.

tbh I think the features I made are very helpful but he thinks otherwise.

As of now I'm really just waiting to get fired xD

He sounds like a real piece of work who is desperate to save his own skin at your expense. It’s definitely time to look for a new job. His AI bubble is going to burst in a way he can't even imagine. It’s only a matter of time.

@DareToSayIT Yeah tbh AI is helpul and all but he thinks it',s a replacement not a tool. His mindset is AI = instant project everyday should have something shipped, he doesn't think of architecture or scalability aslong as it works and it created a lot of tech debt specially now that we are scaling.

@DustyPotato you know, the way he treats you can be counted as bullying or harassment. If you decide to leave, just report him. Chances are they’d replace him first.
