So the meeting with M went exceedingly well! - She told me I am NOT the first to report to her just how heinous my old boss was. She BELIEVES me.
- She was mind blown when I told her my old dept had made 20 million more (23m) when I was there, in a single year, with only me and one other person (half the staff they currently have, currently bringing in only 3 million).
- She was disgusted when I told her I had not received a raise in 3 years. She was bewilderpated as to how our CEO makes 33m a year and doesn't give raises.
- She said that if she ever hears my old boss badmouthing me in bonus/raise meetings, she will most definitely stand up for me. She also stated that my old boss holds no sway in those discussions anymore.
- She stated that her fellow managerial counterpart also acknowledges my value, and that if she didn't believe me/value me, she would have shown me the door right then and there.
- She said she would LOVE to give me a raise, but sadly with the global freeze, a position has to open for me. Entry level employees are level 13's. With each rank increase, you go down a #. I am currently an 11 and should be a 10. There are team leads in my dept who are currently level 12's.
- She clarified that if I DO accept the Louisiana claims position, I would likely get a raise and become a level 10. I would also never interact with my old boss (I am still wary on this point).
- She clarified that the claims position would be a SEPARATE and DISTINCT position, and that I would no longer need to work verifications, inbound calls, reports, or QA audits.
- My dept is getting a 2nd supervisor, and she wants me to be her right hand woman. This feels like an honor, due to the fact that I have only been in this dept a little over a year. I will also, hopefully, have a happier supervisor.
- The QA partner who deleted my work, R, has been "very defensive lately because everything is going wrong for her, so I am treading carefully..but I don't know how much longer she will be here. As for her deleting your work, whattt wasss thattt...just wildly unprofessional."
- Expressed that me not being able to get a raise is "bullshit" on the part of the company. She was also upset that I was lied to about getting to keep my OT, in my old dept.
