Finally a victory of sorts.

For two years I have been writing to the head office of the Muffin Break franchise regarding not displaying prices of their product in the cabinets.
Their response was always the same.
We will pass on your suggestions to the display cabinet committee.
Today whilst waiting for a new tyre to be fitted on my MG, I moseyed over for a coffee at Muffin Break and lo and behold, all produce now have a price tag attached.
A victory for persistence

Well Done !

For some reason especially since covid high street business seems to have worked out all manner of cons to upset shoppers just after the stuff they would normally buy anyway !

In the UK you notice it at food outlets especially pubs and restaurants serving food.
You might see a menu AFTER you go in (nobody's putting menus and pricing in view at the window or door these days) and it used to be consumer law that they DID !

I worked in a dry cleaners that didn't display their prices. Which were outrageous. I had a lot of angry customers. One young woman brought in a bunch of old clothes, a lot of them silk, she had just bought at a thrift shop. When she returned to pick them up the bill was $88. More than she had paid for them. She cried.

Mine always shows there prices, maybe it was just the franchisee who wasn't doing it where you are

@HotPizza71 No. I spoke to numerous franchise holders and they all said they were not to display any prices. A directive from head office.
