I’m quitting coffee today is the second day

I know this is going to sound crazy but I have so much energy I’ve been able to get stuff done without crashing and feeling tired

I’m starting to think that coffee does wake you up but then you crash and then you feel worse and even more tired than you did before

I have decided to supplement with matcha teas 🍵 they’re basically a super food. So what would it hurt? you have to add a little honey or it tastes like dirt

Im going to have to stop eating fried foods so much, spicy food (which is going to be tough because I eat a lot of Spanish and Asian food), dairy, caffeine and cut back on sugar

I’m having gerd like issues on top of the other stuff. I just got my blood work results back I’m waiting for the doctor to call me so we can go over them

good for you. :) i tried quitting coffee once but i was falling asleep driving. maybe i should get some matcha tea :) eta- also, have you tried apple cider vinegar with honey mixed in a little water for the GERD?

@Penny apple cider sounds like it would burn 😳 but I would be willing to try.

You know those aloe drinks? Someone suggested that to me I was drinking them for some time and it alleviates all of the pain and heart burn. But I’m having stomach issues still 🥺

@DeluxedEdition try one or two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar mixed iwth a tsp-tbs of honey mixed in about a 1/4 cup of water. tastes like apple juice. it worked for me when i was having heartburn. up to twice a day until it goes away completely. one dose should be enough to help if it's going to work for you

@Penny I just take a shot of apple cider vinegar raw when I have heart burn xD It burns like hell for a couple minutes but the the heartburn is gone.
