Should people with visible face/neck and other tattoos be employed in customer-facing roles?

I think most people would say 'no' but I'm interested to hear other people's views? In my industry (railways - freight) we are not always in customer-facing situations but sometimes we are.

Yes, as long as it's nothing inappropriate. I think in an ideal world, people should feel comfortable expressing themselves, within reason.
