On the other hand, one of my biggest professional pet peeves is how the discussions of so many problems related to management

Stop at being stated as problems.. That's it. It stops there. That's why I see them as excuses.

If they are truly approached as problems, there would be steps taken to address them. The very next discussion for example would be about how do we decrease the workload in a way that helps engage better treatment plans? Then implement the suggestions to make it happen. But that is never the case. It just stops at the fact that there is no time.

Due to this I often find myself telling people I don't want to hear it, when they want to give me the excuse again, unless we care enough to address the excuse as a challenge we need to solve.

Admittedly I am very difficult person and sometimes hard to please. Which is another thing I do need to work on. I can't control the entire community and I do add a level of stress by being so unyielding and hard to communicate with. It doesn't help having a different set of principles than most. When I care, I spend efforts. Most people never measure up to their beliefs. It bothers me to no end.

You care more than most people ever will and that clashes with them.
