I looked up to my manager at work but lately I’m starting to figure her out and ew

Bosses get fucked up perceptions of other people. They stop seeing their humanity a lot of the time and it distorts everything.

I've dealy with a thousand of them and the best bosses are aware of this and work to counteract the psychology of power. Many lean into it.

Disappointing, isn't it.
