So my boss came into my office

My boss came into my office today to help me with a tough appointment I was having. We are going over the information and he was showing me what to do and then out of nowhere he looks at me and says you know I am really glad that you're here and I appreciate all your hard work I'm going to give you a raise.

I was completely and totally shocked most of the time I feel like I'm not doing a good job I don't know what I'm doing and I'm in over my head. I also feel bad about the special accommodations that they have to make for me because of my tourette's. But hearing him say that just overwhelm me and of course I got teary eyed.

It's hard to believe that I made it one year at this job and that I'm actually doing well enough for my boss to notice. I never thought this is something I could do and I'm glad that Joel pushed me to try it and do something different.
