I had a great boss at work. Then he got promoted.
The new guy was a wanker of the highest order. Using threats and intimidation in the hopes of raising productivity.
I called him out several times.
I lasted 6 months, eventually telling him "I have seen your type many times over my working life and I refuse to put up with it any longer..."
"I resign, effective immediately." and walked out the door.

I couldn't ignore him, so I had to put up with him and tell him when I thought he was wrong. Finally, I resigned, partly because the company psychologist said I might be suffering some psychological damage working for him. I found a better job in a week. He resigned a month later and was investigated for embezzlement.
