Dishwashing is a very underappreciated job I did it for one week then I was promoted to salad bar I hate working in restaurants I haven't done that in 30 years but it is still an honorable job.

Pretty sure thats just to lure you in a false sense of security and importance to make you do your job. They do that to us all the time at my job. They think pizza parties and gift cards (you don't get to choose, I got taco bell once, I dont eat there ever) is the way to thank and appease us.

@Punches OMG... Dang Hun I'm sorry... Yeah besides taking clean silverware to the Waitress table I don't really have to leave my Dishes area ALOT they bring me the dishes LOL.. but I need the money so Friday and Saturday nights I'll deal with the drunks if I have to LOL
