One of my coworkers who is here on a work visa was complaining how she hates this place

I get why she does, i totally do. But i've been at worse places and she says this everyday so the first thing i did was go "don't worry, i'll get us out of here!" Grabbed our plastic cutlery knife and started dramatically sawing at a nearby ziptie holding some shit together, and just kept going at it while progressively getting more intense while making the dumbest face.

She just stared for awhile and then started laughing uncontrollably and said we're all crazy.

I mean yeah, what i did was weird but it was also symbolic. No matter what you do and how much effort you put into trying to change the situation, it's not gonna budge. You leave in two months bitch. Here, take an edible.

I feel like complaining gets you through the day sometimes. It's a delicate balance. Staying positive and bonding while spewing negativity.

Can we switch job and place?
@mindstruggle i like this job...until management from other restaurants around get involved. We're in like our own secluded lil island because our restaurant is more lenient than the others lol
Surely she can suck it up for 2 months??? It's not like a 12 month NVQ we have over here...
Then tell her to go back where she came from and let an American who would appreciate the job more take her place.
