I might lose one of my assistants at work 🙁

Sam came and talked to me in my office just now, telling me she may need to resign to look after her kid full-time. Nothing's set in stone yet and she hopes it won't have to come to that, but due to her present situation, she may need to. Well damn... I appreciate her letting me know ahead of time, but that really sucks. I know this year has been very rough for her and her family, it'd be a real shame for her to have to resign from her job too. And it'll go to show that I just cannot keep this accursed co-assistant position filled!
