My new second boss started yesterday and what do you know, he's someone I've known outside of work for years 😯

Just like the previous second boss who retired recently, he's a friend of my parents and has a relative who's friends with my sister, so I've seen him at my sister's pad before. Real nice guy! He actually previously served as a member of the board of directors for the casino we work at, so he definitely has experience working in a supervisor position. I expect him to get serious whenever he needs to, but hopefully he won't be as much of a hard-ass as my last boss. Not that I didn't like him, but he could really lay into you if you screwed up. In any case, it's good to have a familiar face on board in my department. I think he'll be a great fit. 👍
