If you've ever worked in a call center (or not, just try to imagine), would this bother you?

It *sounded* like I had someone on my calls almost my entire shift! At one point, I couldn't even concentrate, because all I could hear was the external noise. Generally, this "external" noise (or extra noise) means a supervisor is listening to your calls. You can hear extra noises, you know?

I know we had less people in my community today due to so many people taking off work. I understand that, but it seemed like someone was on my calls TOO FREAKING MUCH all day today.

I did look back to one of the assistant coaches while I was having difficulty thinking on a call. I mentioned how I felt like my brain wasn't working very well (laughing about it). And, I said, "And, it doesn't help that I keep hearing the background noise of someone listening to my calls! Lol! It would be one thing if I need help. If I need help dealing with a customer, please listen! But, I'm hearing it constantly today!"

She simply smiled and looked at her computer.

It just bothered me. I've not heard someone on the other line that much before. And, my call backs are just getting worse.

Urgh.

Would it bother you?

Normally, I don't hear all that noise when a coach is listening. It's weird.

Yea, it would bother me. It’s like someone is watching me how I do my work, makes me conscious.

@mindstruggle very uncomfortable when it's all day, too.
