Is there anyway my vision could be worse in certain environments vs others?

I've been thinking my vision is getting worse and worse when I'm at work. I took off early Friday and took off work today. I just noticed my vision started getting a bit blurry, because I started drinking tonight. I've been drinking all weekend though (a lot, too), and I haven't noticed serious issues with my vision. So, is there any way that my work environment could be affecting my vision (and not others, I should add)? I've drank more this weekend, so it's not the alcohol. Plus, I don't go to work intoxicated from any substance.

Could something at my job be affecting my vision? It's gotten really bad. I couldn't even see someone in front of me at times. I don't have problems with seeing things up close. But, it's like it takes a few days or so for my eyes to adjust back to what they previously were...

I almost feel like it's my environment, because it gets really bad at work vs on the way to work. Then, it takes days for my eyes to feel better.

I've had a lot of issues with my eyes recently also. I have to go in to the eye doctor every 2 month to get injections in both eyes. I get the vitreal hemmarage(bleeding inside the eye). When that happens, everything is blurred out, and it can last for a couple of months.
Your best bet is to see the eye doctor. You really don't want to mess around with your vision.
@perceptivei A while back, I had a very uncompassionate eye doctor. I fired him and got a new one.

@TheSentinel Yeah. I'm still noticing the difference when I'm at home.

What sort of work do you do? What's the lighting like? Is the atmosphere dry or dusty? Any fumes?

@Fluffybull How would I know if there are fumes?

@Fluffybull The lighting can be fairly dim on the floor level especially down certain ailses. I think it's dimmer on the bottom floor than up top. I do get bothered by the blue lights pointed directly at me from the new mario carts they have. But, i really think my vision started to get blurry before the blue lights from the new mario carts.

I should state my vision needed improvement prior to this. I know that. I feel like it got significantly worse since i changed departments. Over the weekend, it seemed like my vision slightly improved. I wasn't having headaches or having a difficult time seeing normal stuff. I feel like an idiot explaining this, because I know people would say "You just need glasses/contacts." Or, a doctor would say "You just glasses/contacts."

I feel silly even thinking about it let alone talking about it.

take an eye supplement maybe like ocuvite? Ask your doctor if it's okay to take?

@therighttothink50 I have difficulty believing an eye doctor cares about my vision.
