New challenge today.
For the last 2 years i have been working via an agency as teaching assistant. I have been at the same school for over 18 months. Ive been in a number of different classes and get on very well with the lovely team of staff.
Since last November, i have been covering maternity leave, and the lady ive been covering returned to work on Thursday.
I always knew that would happen, and my time there could soon end.
However, my line manager called me into her office on Thursday and I thought....here we go...馃檨 ....but.....the first words from her mouth were 'we don't want to let the go' and she proceeded to tell me of options within the school i could consider if I wanted to stay.
So today, i start in a new class with a little lady with additional needs. I've worked with the class teacher before so thats a bonus, .....lets see what the day brings!
