This pool of applicants I got for the open position in my office is a joke

Not many of them seem like a good fit at all to be my co-assistant mail clerk. A few of them are employees from other departments here that don't seem like they'd do well. Two are from grounds keeping, two are from IS and another's in security! Then maybe 3 out of the 22 applicants are unemployed while the rest work odd-jobs. I even got one who's only job experience is serving pizza at Costco! At least my current assistant Bryanna previously worked as an accounting intern, which I imagine is kinda like working with mail. I'm not judging anyone for their past employment. One could work as a stripper for all I care. I'd hire them if they also had experience working at the post office. As much as I hate to just overlook the majority of the applicants, I'm only going to actually consider a handful right now and just hope people more qualified come along eventually.
