I quiet quit. Not sure it has anything do with the younger generation though.
My job is demanding and requires a lot of my personal time to do it right. But there’s a lack of appreciation - not to mention compensation - for that extra time. I used to do it to be a good worker and also bc I was single with nothing else to devote my life to. But now my parents are gone, after long sicknesses and I am a wife so over the last 10 years or so I quiet quitted bc I had other priorities.
I also don’t lose my mind over the little details that I used to when I was new even while working. Where before I planned planned planned. Now I just wing it. Idc.
