you ever not get a job due to how you look or

told at your job you need to change something about your appearance be it piercings or whatever?

was offered a 3rd job a bit ago but when went in, they asked if i would shave the beard and when said no, they said It would not work out.
Prob a blessing due to already getting burnt out from 2 jobs and having to leave recently previous job due to being burnt out..

anyway I am bored, this place is kinda dead so I am making conversation that does not revolve around politics and all that tiresome bullshit

I dressed correctly for a job interview when I was 20 for a receptionist position at my workplace and didn't get the position.The next time a receptionist job came up I wore a skirtsuit with a very short skirt that just showed beneath the fitted jacket and teamed it with 6 inch pencil thin stiletto heeled white sandals.Got the position.
One time at work HR told me a complaint had been filed against me for wearing mini skirts in the office.It is not against dress code.I had a really good idea who had filed the complaint so the next day I wore short shorts then told her I was so lucky to have such long sharply legs.She said her husband agreed with me.Turned out her husband had been looking at my legs when he had been dropping her off at work and she got very jealous.

@tallpowerhouseblonde what made you change up how you dressed the second interview? did you feel you did not get the first due to how you were dressed?
So you got a complaint due to jealousy? did anything come out of it with the complaint?

@Torsten I noticed that a lot of the women being successful were tall with long legs that they showed off.The interviews were being conducted by two men and they were clearly influenced by attractiveness as well as job ability.I have 46 inch legs,very shapely and really well muscled from gym workouts so I used them.I knew showing off my legs,feet and boobies gave me a great chance at being successful.Collectively we got called the 6ft club because we were all really tall.
Nothing came of the complaint.I had made my point to her and carried on wearing mini skirts or shorts like I had been doing already.

@Torsten There was never anything going to come from the complaint.We can dress as we wish provided it is not sports clothing.
