New kid left a bad first impression at work, but tomorrow's a new day...

First, he rubs me up with the wrong way with his political ramblings (and he's only 16, lolwut) and then I have to chew his ass out for making an offensive remark. Yeah, I'm not impressed... But the good news for him is that a bad first impression can always change. Tomorrow, he'll have a clean slate and we'll just see how he does. There've been newcomers at work who I didn't care for much at first, but they more or less redeemed themselves. I'm sure it's been that way with me for plenty of others too. And this kid isn't all bad, so maybe he'll demonstrate his more positive qualities from here on. We shall see.

You gotto tell him that you don't like to talk about politics, because he will keep doing it without realizing it and just piss u off more.

Yeah. Social interactions at work are trial and error for young folks. The more work experience he gains the more sensible he will become.
