I accidentally called my assistant "chicken" 😳

It's a silly pet name I use. 😅 Anyway, I was talking to my assistant at work, Bryanna, on the phone letting her know I'll finally be coming back to work tomorrow, which made her real happy. 😊 She was all talking about how she'll be glad to have me back, that she hopes I won't be disappointed with how she left our office. 😕 After giving Bryanna a big encouraging spiel on how well she's been doing while I've been out these past several weeks, I ended with "So don't even worry about it, chicken." She laughed aloud and went "Chicken?!" Oops... 😶 I was in endearment mode, damn it. 🤣
