Anybody here work from home?

What do you do for work?
How is it working from home?
Does management constantly monitor you?

I have the same problems on every single job.
I get anxiety to the point I hate waking up in the morning and going to work.
Gonna start looking at WFH jobs.

My goal is to be out of my current job before December

I have an online job which I do part time helping blind people. I have a Face to Face video call with my manager once per month. Also all calls are recorded and randomly reviewed by management especially if the user flags it and gives it a bad rating.
Other than that nope not too much monitoring. There is always a shift leader online looking at how many calls I am taking and is there to respond to difficulties. But my job is best as a part time job because its not a W2 job ( contract work) but a number of people do it full time anyway because it is flexible and you can literally take off any time.

If you suffer from social anxiety I do recommend not retreating to your house. It can lead to greater isolation. If you work from home make sure to regularly get involved in something where you will have to interact with some people.

@REMsleep What does the job entail where you help blind people?

I would definently leave my house though after work is over. I have no interest in not seeing people all day. I just don't like 'forced' socialization, dealing with coworkers, seeing all the kiss-asses, just constantly being around people that I don't like and who don't like me is tiring and draining.

@iamnikki I assist the blind with visual information. Reading things, applying for jobs anything really.
