I will disclose two things I don't like about my job.

I mostly love my work, my boss, and my coworkers. It's a very laid back environment and everyone has been super nice to me. The work is easy for the most part, except for the days when we have to deep clean the facility (I'd rather my boss hire a cleaning crew, but it's a small startup, so for now, we are the cleaning crew). But so far there are 2 things I dislike.

1. Once a month, my boss throws "parties", which is basically us working half the day and then for the rest of the day, we eat lunch together (boss provides lunch), play Blackjack (boss puts the 💵 in the pot), and get to leave early. Sounds GREAT doesn't it??
Well. Not if you're an introvert like me. 😐 For me, as much as I am appreciative and grateful to have a kind and generous boss, I am also really drained when I am forced to be social for that long. I wish I was an extrovert.

2. The second thing I dislike is the fact that, although we have a supervisor, the actual person who tells us all what to do is my 18 yr old coworker. 🙄 She has been there only a year, but for some reason everyone goes to her for questions and instructions. She's ambitious and works hard, I'll give her that, but she's also just a kid who doesn't have the life experience to be telling a bunch of adults what to do and how to do it. I was especially irked yesterday when she told me to mop a floor that she was literally mopping at the time. She made me mop over the spots that she'd already mopped, and said it was because "it would dry the floor faster". Huh??? Mopping twice will dry the floor faster?? 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ I wish that we all were assigned specific chores by our ACTUAL manager, instead of having to do what this child says.

That’s poor judgment on the bosses behalf allowing this person to assume an unassigned role.

@Quimliqer I have to agree.

The age shouldn't be an issue. If there's something wrong, try to communicate.
