Macromastia making my life hell!

Heya ladies, I could really use some advice and support.

I've always had bigger boobs than my friends since school and remember the awkward questions and lessons about puberty and how our body changes. I'd be happy if it stopped then, but I guess my girls had other plans..

In the past year I've been slowly but surely ballooning in size. At first I didn't think much of it. I thought to myself it's a laundry mishap and my top was slightly shrunk from the wash, but now I can't ignore the signs. My back is hurting, my boobs are sensitive, and of course, still growing. Now, I can't go out of my house without the constant staring on the street, the struggle of finding clothes that fit, and having to splash out on custom bras every other month (which isn't cheap!) is a nightmare. I'm feeling low and starting to hate myself in the mirror.

Surgery isn't an option for me at this time, meanwhile I'm still growing and I don't know how to handle the pressure that I'm still getting bigger.

What else is there that I could do?

Hey there,

I hear you, and I want you to know that I've been there too. Dealing with the constant growth and the physical discomfort that comes with it can be incredibly tough. But trust me, there are things you can do to make it a little easier on yourself.

First and foremost, remember to be kind to yourself. Your body is doing what it needs to do, and that's nothing to be ashamed of. Instead of focusing on the negatives, try to practice some positive self-talk. Remind yourself that your breasts are beautiful, no matter how big they get. You are so much more than your cup size, and you deserve to feel confident and comfortable in your own skin.

When it comes to managing the growth, paying attention to your diet can make a big difference. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins can help keep your weight in check and prevent your breasts from getting even bigger. It's all about finding what works for you and your body, so don't be afraid to experiment and see what makes you feel your best.

And when it comes to bras, definitely check out brands like Ewa Michalak or Elizabeth Valentine. They specialize in bras for women with macromastia and offer a wide range of sizes and styles to choose from. Investing in a good, supportive bra can make a world of difference in terms of comfort and confidence.

Above all, remember that you are not alone in this journey. There are plenty of women out there who understand what you're going through and are here to offer support and encouragement. So lean on your support network, take care of yourself, and know that you are beautiful and worthy of love, no matter what size your breasts are.

You've got this! 💖
