Are there any ladies here over 60 that can help me with question?

I don't want to be insulting as I'm a woman myself and one day I will be menopausal.

But I have to ask did it affect your memory? Going through the change?

And if it did, did it affect long or short term memory more?

I'm just trying to understand my mum's behaviour because it seems like anything I say to her she forgets.
And it's affecting her confidence as she gets anxious about her memory not being so good.

I did not notice any change in my wife's memory, and she says she didn't think it got worse at that time. Both of us began to notice lapses in our late 60's, but nothing major.
