Does anyone else have adenomyosis?

Just curious. I was diagnosed with it about four years ago and it’s ordinarily not bad but some days like today are super painful.

I’ve never met anyone else who has it
Yes, along with endometriosis. I had to have a hysterectomy a few years ago.

I had it. There were some days I couldn’t get out of bed or even walk because of the pain.

@Pinkstarburst I’m sorry you also had to have a hysterectomy ♥. Yes, my doctor said it will go away with menopause

@Jenny1234 I had a Velcro heating pad that I could wrap tightly around me. The heat and tight pressure helped.

@Pinkstarburst I have a regular heating pad, but I’m going to look up this Velcro heating pad

I have endometriosis..but luckily no pain. I'm on a pill that stops my period too. It is supposed to diminish tissue growth in uterus.

@Coralmist is that a pill special for endometriosis? I had to stay on birth control until a few months ago because it helped with the bleeding and the pain. I’ve noticed the pain more since I’ve been off bc. But menopause is supposed to get rid of it anyway so hopefully I don’t have long to go

@Coralmist does endometriosis go away on its own with menopause like adenomyosis?
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
Yes, I was duagnosed about 12 yrs ago. My doctor said that it can occur as a result of having c-sections. She recommended an iud, and its helps a lot.

@Sunnykel76 I had a C-section and that’s what my doctor said too.
