Unless one's post has some piss and vinegar inside, it's usually ignored and over looked on SW.

Depends on who follows you. SW gives priority to followers and friends.

I do see all of my friends posts, if I keep on refreshing my feed. You do need to at least look at the posts it shows.

Others, that I see around in others posts, I don't see their posts at all. I don't follow them.

Yet it's why I do look into the forums. All posts are there. Most refuse to use the forums. Just look at their feeds and complain why so few posts.
