Weight loss contest loss
I just lost a weight lost contest last Friday as I got the end dates of the competition mixed up.
I did challenge someone down the gym that I would lose more weight than them and he accepted it.
I figured it would be easy money and the contest has been going on for 6 months.
2 weeks ago I weighed myself and declared myself the winner, my opponent wasn't there but had weighed himself earlier and I saw that I bet him.
I was so pleased with myself I had a blow out that week, pizza, beer, ice-cream, burgers, chips, Pepsi...you name it, I had it!
I got a shock last Friday when I was asked to weigh myself for the FINAL result. I'd put on 4lbs in weight that week and lost the contest.
I then had to hand over lots of ££££
I tried everything!
"Oh come on, you can't weigh me again...at least give me another couple of weeks to lose this weight, it's not fair, it was a genuine mistake"
But the folks running the contest, to see fair play, were having none of it. So on I had to go and lost.
