A change of plan

I am going to try for my original goal of prolonged fasting as opposed to intermittent. Today is my first day on this road. I have tried many times over the last several months to do this, but I think after a couple of weeks of intermittent fasting, I can move on to prolonged fasting. It isn't a water fast, as I allow coffee, tea, broth, and, if I start to feel very ill, I allow a small amount of salted tomato juice. I am feeling hopeful.

I could really use some success, so I will pray for strength. 🙏🏻

Failure really hurts, and I don't want to deal with that again for a while. 😔

I am mostly writing this post to remind myself, when I feel weak, why I am doing this. :-)
