Next stop: victory

I'm a runner and a walker, and I eat healthy, no booze, no smoking, so in good conditions for weight loss. I got injured and while the injury itself healed within three/four weeks, my old injury hurt for a couple more months. Just getting back on track at a better running pace. Currently 121 pounds, I've re-lost 12 pounds already and I'm taking up getting back to my original 110-115 pounds max. Wish me luck. Nahh, I'm kidding nothing but grit and hard work here. It keeps my mind off stuff, too.

That's been the hardest part for me. Making my injuries tolerable for the activities that caused them
@TheSmearedPen mainly fractures. I've compensated by not using them. My lower back has had me barely able to move until I started doing leg lifts which has strengthened and allowed movement.
@Justafantasy sounds tough. Are you still in recovery, if you don't mind me asking?
@TheSmearedPen I'm always recovering from something. Is it 'official recovery' not really, just more of what my body will allow, I'm in my late 40's. I drive truck for a living and the sports I do tend to be high impact/ high risk even though I do them at a lower impact/risk level. BMX, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking. The faster you go the easier they are. The more it hurts when things go wrong

I got injured at a gym by weight. Took six months to heal. I now restrict myself to running.
@peterlee I used to skateboard, mountain bike stunt and ski, now I run and walk, getting older 🤷
